The production of the White Claw represented a large-scale logistical challenge, with the mission of capturing the brand's youthful energy in the heart of Mexico City. The main challenge was twofold: on one hand, we had to close a busy street in the popular Colonia Roma for the shoot, which required meticulous coordination.
On the other, we needed to replicate the interior of a subway, a complex task that demanded a large-scale set. Additionally, the client initially wanted international talent, which presented a significant logistical challenge.
Under the direction of Björn Ruhmann and the cinematography of Joe Douglas, our Tantor team approached these challenges with a strategic mindset. With rigorous planning, we handled all the logistics to secure filming permits in Colonia Roma, ensuring a fluid execution in one of the city's busiest areas. Regarding talent, we leveraged our alliances with casting directors to prove to the client that the selection of models in Mexico was more than sufficient to meet the international profile they sought, resolving a potentially costly and complicated challenge in a simple and efficient manner.
The result is a vibrant and dynamic commercial that perfectly captures the brand's essence. The production was a testament to our ability to overcome logistical challenges; the street closure and the subway set were executed flawlessly. The project demonstrates how a local production, with the right logistics and talent, can not only meet but exceed international expectations, delivering a final product that is as bold as the brand itself.
